Is this only for AI projects?
No. Any legitimate software or internet product that fits the rules can apply.
Do I need a finished product?
No. An idea, prototype, pre-launch product, or very early launch can qualify.
Do I need a pitch deck?
No. The application is intentionally lightweight and builder-oriented.
Can teams apply?
Yes. Solo builders and small teams are welcome. One project is one application.
Do organizers take equity?
No mandatory equity is required.
Who owns my project?
You do. Builders retain their company, code, intellectual property, and ownership.
Is financial support guaranteed?
No. Support is discretionary, may take several forms, and has no guaranteed fixed amount.
Where can I apply from?
Anywhere in the world, subject to ordinary legal, safety, and operational restrictions. Cohort 01 is not limited to Pakistan or to members of Furqan's community.
Must I belong to Furqan's community?
No. Cohort 01 is launched in collaboration with Furqan and his community, but membership is not an eligibility requirement.
Can I pivot?
Yes. Good-faith, evidence-driven pivots are allowed. Keep the organizers informed.
What counts as shipping?
Something another person can actually use: a working app, package, bot, API, beta, open-source release, or comparable deliverable.
What if the idea fails?
Good-faith failure is acceptable. Repeated unexplained disappearance or bad-faith participation is not.
Is there a minimum age to apply?
No. There is no minimum age requirement to apply. If a participant cannot legally enter a particular agreement or receive a particular resource in their jurisdiction, the organizers may require consent from a parent, guardian, or other legally authorized representative before that specific arrangement is provided.
How are the final Top 3 selected?
Organizers and judges assess valid applications using the published rubric and shortlist the strongest contenders. One eligible authenticated account may vote for one published finalist during the official voting window. After integrity review, the three projects with the strongest certified valid-vote results enter FROM0 Cohort 01.
Can the judges choose the final three after voting?
No. Judges and organizers decide which applications reach the public-vote shortlist. The public vote determines the normal final Top 3, subject to vote-integrity review, the published tie policy, and result certification.
What happens if the public vote is tied?
A tie at the final qualifying position is resolved first by the original application assessment score. If that is also tied, the judging panel makes and records the final tie-break decision using the published assessment criteria. Winners are never chosen at random.
Will live vote totals be visible?
They are hidden while voting is open by default to reduce bandwagon effects. Organizers may explicitly choose to show them. Certified final results are shown only after integrity review and publication.
